Spending the better part of the past week with my parents as they vacationed in Florida ended up feeling like a bit of a vacation for me, as well. It was both enjoyable and a little confusing. While we spent most of the time in/near my own home, I feel as though I’ve been gone. Luckily, it’s Friday. I have the weekend to realign myself. In that effort, I’m sticking with my tried and true Friday routine – linking up with Oh, Hey Friday, High Five for Friday and Friday Favorites (add’l links below)!
Favorite Song This Week
Bills by LunchMoney Lewis. This song just makes me want to dance, but just a little bit. In fact, very much like LunchMoney Lewis dances in this video. Also? His Twitter handle is @LunchisHere. Don’t know much about him, but strongly feel that hanging out with him would be good times.

Favorite New Activity This Week
Last night I participated in a Twitter Chat held by Elle & Co. I’ve been hearing about Twitter Chats for a while and wanted to get in on the action. While it worked very much the way that I’d expected, I was completely unprepared for the pace of it!
Short explanation: Host dictates time and length of chat. Host prepares and issues questions throughout chat. All attendants are welcome to answer questions and talk amongst themselves throughout, but always including the chat hashtag (last night it was #ellechat).
Thankfully, I’d previously seen a tip about using TweetDeck for a chat. Without that, I would never have made it through. Last night’s chat focused on Pinterest and how people use it for/with their business/blog. I did learn some new things, and even gained a couple followers on Pinterest and Twitter. However, I’m even more excited for next week, where the topic is Finding Your Blogging Niche! And, having gone through it once before, I’ll be better prepared.
Are you following me on Twitter, yet? If not, maybe you should. Occasionally I’m quite witty. @JeansandaTankT
Favorite Meal This Week
This one is actually tougher than it sounds! Carmelita’s, Alesia, Pipo’s, Girls Night… there was a great deal of delicious food in my life this week. That said, still Ulele, hands down. Below is a photo of my entree: Flank Steak, marinated in garlic sea salt and olive oil, thinly sliced, and served with Florida avocado “Jimmychurri” sauce, atop white cheddar popcorn mash. For the rest of the drool-worthy food photos, see my full post here.
