Pre-Valentine’s Day Blogmopolitan Quiz

Valentine's Day featured

Valentine’s Day is almost here and I’ve completely refrained from mentioning it on the ol’ blogeroo. Full disclosure: I actually thought Valentine’s Day was today… until my husband, yesterday morning, informed me that it is tomorrow, Saturday. To be clear, I know that Valentine’s Day is February 14th, I just thought that today (Friday) was the 14th. Poor math.

At this time we still don’t have solid plans, but we’re discussing finding a new, gourmet recipe and making dinner together. Whether or not we try our hand at culinary artistry, I feel fairly confident in saying that there will be wine. We’re pretty easy like that.

So, in my only true nod to Valentine’s Day, this week I’m linking up with Two Thirds Hazel on her Valentine’s Day Blogmopolitan Quiz. Earlier in the week I’d mentally committed myself to filling out the quiz as my Friday post. I did that without actually reading through the quiz. When I finally sat down with my pretty blue pen I realized that my answers are not at all exciting. I don’t know that you’re going to learn a whole lot here, about love, dating or me… I suppose I can be the lowย end of the curve for this test.

(How’s that for amping up anticipation?)

Here goes!

Valentine's Day Blogmopolitan Quiz

Yep, there you have it.

Wait – hold the phone! If tomorrow is the 14th… that means today is Friday the 13th! (yes, that took longer than it should have) So tonight we should all play Ouija and watch scary movies and generally terrify ourselves, and tomorrow we eat a lot of chocolate and drink to congratulate ourselves on making it through. That totally works.

Happy Friday the Thirteenth, Happy Valentine’s Day, and (most importantly) happy weekend, everyone!

Old habits die hard – we went the tried-and-true steak route. However, I’m going to plan a make-our-own pizza night soon. We’ve talked about doing that at least a hundred times, we just haven’t done it yet.

I love it too when my guy tells his own account of our love story! It lets me know how he feels about us! Just cute to see if our stories match at all! Haha. Nice post!
