Cleveland Heights Restaurant round-up

If you haven’t noticed, I like to eat. A lot. So, in honor of #TBT, I’m going to take a leap back to my childhood home of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, and share three of my favorite food spots to hit whenever I visit. In advance, you’re welcome.

1. Tommy’s Restaurant – sit down, but casual. Deliciously fresh food. Amazing milkshakes. A great place to get a real feel for the Cleveland Heights community. Also, Katie and I ate there with Kathryn Hahn once (okay, she was two tables away and we didn’t actually speak, but let me dream a little), and she can do no wrong.

2. Grum’s Sub Shoppe (No website! Get the 411 on Yelp) – the best sub sandwich you will ever eat. Go for the classic Grum’s or the Turkey Ridge. There is no seating in the shoppe – it’s all take-out.

Yes, that's me. And yes, I'm hugging the Grum's wall.

3. Aladdin’s Eatery – Lebanese. SO good. Save room for dessert – they have the most decadent bakery goods. Favorite dish no longer on the menu – shanklish!

Although I love my tried-and-true, I love trying new places, too. Let me know your favorite Cleveland Heights restaurants – cheers!
