Bachelorette Bracket – Season 12 – JoJo Fletcher

It’s ba-ack! Just one week from today we’ll be entering Season 12 of The Bachelorette!

My girlfriends and I have a standing date with The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. We get together on Monday nights, watch show, drink wine, eat delicious foods and provide hilarious commentary throughout. In preparation for Season 11 of The Bachelorette (Kaitlyn Bristowe) I created The Official* Jeans & a Tank Top Bachelorette Bracket. It was more successful than I could have predicted, and the Ben Higgins Bracket was even more popular! So, without further ado, I give to you…

The Official* Jeans & a Tank Top Season 12 Bachelorette Bracket!

JoJo Fletcher Bachelorette Bracket Season 12

* Official through Jeans & a Tank Top, only, and in no way recognized or part of the ABC network.

Note: this Bachelorette Bracket begins AFTER the first rose ceremony. Trying to predict the outcome PRIOR to the first episode would be like filling out your March Madness brackets without knowing how the teams had been playing all season long. This way you get to see a little bit of each contender and make slightly more educated picks.

Here’s how it works:

Enjoy watching the first episode of The Bachelorette, Season 12

  1. You do not need to make ANY selections PIOR TO, or DURING, the first episode of The Bachelorette.
  2. Watch the first episode on Monday, May 23, 2016, at 8pm/7pm central.
  3. During the first rose ceremony, cross out the names of the men who have been sent home.

AFTER the first rose ceremony has ended:

  1. Choose the 16 men that you think will survive the next rose ceremony.
  2. Continuing filling out your entire bracket, to completion, PRIOR to watching the second rose ceremony.

That’s it! Play along with friends and choose your own reward for the person who ends with the highest points.

I will reveal my own completed Bachelorette Bracket prior to Episode 3. I should warn you that I correctly predicted both Kaitlyn and Ben’s final picks. Can I do it again? **Update 5/30/16: See my picks (available after 7pm EDT) ***

You can either print the bracket from the image above, or download the PDF (currently read only).

Enjoy!

This is amazing! I’m a sporadic Bachelor/Bachelorette watcher.. I might have to do this!

Dooooo it! Admittedly, it might cause you to watch more Bachelor than usual. But you just find a partner in viewing, have a glass (or three) of wine, eat some tasty nibbly things and make it an event.

Do you know where I can find a printable with all the men’s pics and their names? Btw, love your bracket. I’ll be doing this with the girls tomorrow!

Lisa – so glad you enjoy the bracket!! I did a little searching and can’t seem to find a pre-made printable with all the guys. It’s a great idea, though. I’ll definitely add that in for next season! Not sure I can get one together before tomorrow’s premier, but if I do, I’ll let you know. Let me know who you pick as “The One”!

How do u pay out!! For fun!

Hey, Jinell! While (thus far) I’ve only played for bragging rights, I’d recommend having everyone in your league/group donate a pre-determined amount of money. Then, the winner can take all, or you could do 75% to the winner, 15% to second place and 10% to third place. Scoring is on the bracket, but if you have any questions, let me know.

    How does the scoring work?

Hey, Sandra! So glad you’re playing along! The scoring is fairly simple. Each week, AFTER the Rose Ceremony, you compare the men that JoJo has picked with the men that you’d predicted she would pick. For every match you get points (see the point card on the bracket – example: 2nd Rose Ceremony matches are worth 2 points each). The total of your Rose Ceremony matches are your weekly score. The total score is all weeks together. I hope that helps – if you have more questions, just let me know! And let me know who you’ve got as “The One!”

        Awesome, thanks!

It was a hard choice but I picked Luke as “The One”. Can’t wait for the season, the trailer looked amazing! So much man drama! Love it!

i am so confused. From my understanding there are 17 guys with roses after the second episode but only 16 spots. can you tell me where i’m wrong?

Stef – you are not wrong 🙂 There ARE 17 guys with roses, but my bracket only had spaces for 16. ABC does not (and will not) provide the number of gentlemen that receive roses each week in advance of the season. The numbers that I’ve used are based on past season averages. Unfortunately, that does mean I’m sometimes wrong. Simply give yourself the 2 points for EVERY guy you got right. If you’re playing with friends, they’ll all be in the same boat, so no-one will be at an advantage or disadvantage. Hope that helps!

I’m not sure how to score this week because 17 men stayed and there are only 16 spaces. Does that mess up the rest of the weeks?

Hi, Hilary! You’ll score this week exactly as planned. You give yourself two points for each of the gentlemen you got right. Since scoring is cumulative, and not based on percentages, the discrepancy between the bracket total and actual total will not matter. As for the discrepancy, I use the best numbers available to me. Unfortunately, ABC will not provide/confirm/deny the number of roses given out at each ceremony in advance of the season, so I’m left to rely on averages and other resources (without checking spoiler reports – I’m playing/watching along, too!). As long as you and your friends are all using the same bracket, the scoring will not put anyone at an advantage or disadvantage. I hope this helps!
